Brave new world post 4 by Zibraan Ali

Towards the end of the book after the characters get arrested and during that period the author talks a lot about science which I really liked. I thought it was nice for the author to write about the science and explain to the readers what this “new world” is. Also the punishment that Mond gave to John, Bernard and Helmholtz is pretty nice and it would help them in the future. In chapter 17 John mostly talks about religion and how he wants religion to be a big factor in his life. In the end John Is left alone while the other two people are taken away to an island. Chapter 18 is really weird to me. I didn’t get it at all. Why was John whipping himself? While reading that chapter I felt thought that John was a type of attraction like lions in a zoo. Also I think that the author could have made the ending better and unique. The author just brought Lenina out of nowhere and then john goes and whips her? What was all that about? I didn’t even understand that part. Thought the author did make some of the ending interesting. I liked the part where John was used a freak and everyone was going at his house to interview him. In the end the author made John suicide. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. I think that the author should have gone into more details and explained a bit more about the reasons of John’s suicide. What do  you think?

Brave new world post 3 by Zibraan Ali

At this place the other didn’t really tell what happened between the director and his son. I think he should have explained more about what had happened with the director and his son. Also I noticed that in this time there were few cars used and a lot of helicopter traveling done. Also what’s up with the Soma? Is it some kind of drug in that society like a legal drug or is it something they just use? All I know is that Soma is a muscle relaxer these days. Also I like how the author introduces Shakespeare. I think that John’s readings of Shakespeare’s books is a significant part in this book because if shows the importance of how their world is compared to the real world and I also think that there will be some sort of rebellious act towards this government or something.  I really like how in chapter 15 the book starts to take a turn towards the good. John’s mom dying is a really sad thing and it is really messed up how the children are saying mean things to her. John is getting himself together and starts realizing the truth and I liked the part where John tried to tell people not to do soma and how it is bad for them. Also I think that soma also kind of played a big role because soma lead John to jail. I think that in the chapters to come there will be big changes going to happen in this book.

Brave new world post 2 by Zibraan Ali

This book starts off with babies being born to now Bernard. I found it interesting how the author doesn’t go into that much detail about the things happening. He just explains it. While in the chapter the author brings up two new characters. I think it is really weird to do that because they pop from out of nowhere but they play an important role in the book. While reading this book I saw that the author didn’t go overboard. He had some situations that were current and the readers could relate to. Some of the situations were drug abuse. The characters in the book did drugs to calm themselves down. I think that in that society anything goes. Unlike the societies of Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 the society of this book is really relaxed and not that tight on security and laws (even though Bernard was given a warning and if he didn’t perform well he will be transferred to Iceland). It was nice to see how finally John met his dad and how his dad was the person teaching people not to have kids and etc. What do you think is going to happen further in the story? I think that Bernard will be transferred to Iceland and he will experience new things over there and also I think that towards the end of the book things will be back to how it is in the real world but right now this book got way better and I am actually starting to enjoy this book very much.

Brave new world post 1 by Zibraan Ali

I think that this book had a really weird beginning to it. It talked about embryos, eggs, sperms and other baby making products. The author of this book explained everything very well but I think that he explained it a little too well. The society these people live in is a weird society. There is no parents now and they are using years after the ford cars. Also they are using child cruelty in this book and I think that that is outrageous. Also I think that the author is exaggerating about the future. The author is mostly talking about children’s in this point of the book because I think that more in the book the children are going to do something to change the climax. After reading chapter 3 I really am starting to think that the author is a pedophile (I might have misunderstood the part but it seems like he was talking about little kids naked and playing a sexual game). This book seems really weird to me. While reading this book I kind of thought about 1984 and Fahrenheit 451 because in 1984 the government stops people from sexual activities but in this book they make children involved in sexual activities. Fahrenheit 451 the people didn’t read books and it is the same in this book too. Now the book has gone into adults and it kind of is better than what it was before but this book is really sexual. AlsoI didn’t get what this meant
“Orgy-porgy, Ford and fun,
Kiss the girls and make them One.
Boys at one with girls at peace;
Orgy-porgy gives release.”
Can you explain it to me?
